Interest rates on deposits in Uzbek soums continue to decline.
In April, the average rate on term deposits in the national currency stood at 17.4%, which is 2.1 percentage points lower than a year earlier. At the same time, thanks to slowing inflation, the real return on deposits remains high.

📌 The interest rate on loans in Uzbek soums remained at 19.7%.

This is another reason to pay attention to stocks and bonds: despite carrying a higher level of risk, they may offer potentially higher returns compared to traditional bank deposits.
