OF INVESTMENT INSTITUTIONS
About the Association
The National Association of Investment Institutions (NAII) was established based on the decision of the General Meeting of the founders — members of the Association, held on January 15, 2021.
On February 10, 2021, the National Association was registered with the State Services Agency under the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan as a non-governmental, non-profit organization — an association of legal entities.
In its activities, the National Association is guided by the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Civil Code, current laws and regulations, as well as its own Charter.
Key Areas and Priorities of Activity

Protecting the rights and legitimate interests of NAII members in relations with state bodies and other organizations, both domestically and internationally.

Participating in the development of Uzbekistan’s capital market strategy.

Providing information support to Association members, including industry news and analytical materials.

Cooperating with government agencies in the development and improvement of the financial market’s regulatory framework.

Offering methodological and technical support to professional participants in the capital market to enhance their efficiency.

Participating in the training, retraining, and professional development of specialists in the investment sector.

Engaging with regulators to improve the operating conditions for capital market participants.

Promoting the creation of a healthy competitive environment and increasing investor confidence in the market.

Ensuring transparency and timely disclosure of information in the capital market.

Expanding international cooperation, building relationships with self-regulatory organizations, and supporting the interaction of NAII members with foreign companies.
Main directions of the activities of NAII

Promoting the implementation of capital market principles and standards in the activities of Association members.

Developing proposals for state bodies on improving legislation regulating the financial market.

Studying and adapting best international practices in the capital market.

Organizing seminars, conferences, round tables, competitions, and other professional events.

Preparing and publishing methodological materials, brochures, analytical and scientific-technical publications.

Conducting training programs and courses on key areas of the Association’s activities.

Establishing partnerships with other financial market participants and their associations.
International cooperation
The NAII is a full member of the Asia Securities Forum (ASF)an international organization that unites the leading non-governmental and non-profit structures of the stock market in the Asia-Pacific region. The ASF contributes to the exchange of experience, the development of cross-border interaction, and the maintenance of sustainable economic growth in the region.
The Institute is also part of theEuropean-Uzbek Economic Cooperation Association (EUROUZ) — a platform for dialogue between the public and private sectors of Uzbekistan, the European Union, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland. Participation in EUROUZ contributes to strengthening mutual understanding and business ties between Europe and Uzbekistan.

Promotion of the professional standards and ethics, organization of the educational activities, and contribution to the formation of a financially literate investment community

Facilitation of attracting domestic and foreign investments
To create conditions for increasing investment activity, improve the investment climate, and participate in initiatives aimed at enhancing Uzbekistan’s attractiveness for investors.

Development of international cooperation and implementation of best practices
To establish connections with foreign partner organizations, exchange experience, and implement the best international standards and technologies in the country’s investment sphere.

Shakirov Bakhtiyor Tairovich has more than 20 years of experience in the securities market and investment banking services. Since 2010, he has been the General Director of “Birinchi Banklararo Depozitariy” LLC, which provides depository accounting, transaction support, and customer service services on the Uzbekistan stock market.
